Importing from VHS taoe into FCP

Im trying to convert VHS footage into a digital format using FCP 6.0.6 on a MAc Pro.

Any Ideas on the best way to interface the VCR to my computer so that I can make this happen?

I know to go through the log and capture function once it is hooked up and all i can figure is either getting RCA cables with a USB/firewire converstion or a s-video cable with some sort of other converstion.

Your help is gretly appreicated.

If you have, or can borrow, a MiniDV camera you run the VCR into the camera via analog cables and then run the camera into your computer via FW.

The MiniDV cam would certainly work. Also, Sony used to make a slick little media converter box called the DVMC-DA1 that's perfect for this. You might be able to find one on eBay.
