Hey guys - sorry this has probably been asked a thousand times, so if someone can just drop me a link I would appreciate it. I just got my DVX-100a and am having trouble importing my footage. Can someone provide the necessary steps to properly importing footage (a possible default setting or must it be custom?) into FCP HD? Again, thank you for answering what I am sure is an "age-old" question.

How was it shot... 24p? pa? 30fps?
Use one of your preset captures from the capture window.
What exactly is the problem you are having?

If your doing norml capture it shouldn't be any problem. If you're trying to deal with 24pa then make sure you go to Easy Setup prefs and click the Show all check box. Choose Advanced pulldown removal.
