Importing Footage from a DVD to FCP?

Is there a way to capture footage off of a DVD and get it into FCP? If so how is it done? I have been trying for a while and cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated.

Download freeware Handbrake to get video/audio converted to QT.

You can also transfer it through analog via your deck.
