importing Audio... i.e. interviews

If I have my main audio coming into the camera on channel 2, when I go to import that footage into FCP, what is the best selection? Should I select Channel 2 only, or Stereo, or Mono?

Re: importing Audio... i.e. interviews

You should buy an SM57 (SHURE) Microphone and record both
from on cam and get in a few feet from subject, throw on the
headphones and get ready to RAWK! Or just get some really decent SOT.

I would suggest capturing both channels and then just getting rid of the channel you don't need when on the timeline. Select Stereo.

This gives you the option of using the non-critical channel, if you want.
