I notice when I open the "import media" option in FCPX and select, for example, my desktop it lists every single piece of media in all the sub-folders. This is extremely annoying when trying to find specific media since I usually have it organized in folders. I would rather FCP not list everything. Is there anyway to disable this and keep it showing all my sub-folders?

I honestly find it far easier to just have a Finder window open above FCPX and drag things in that way...instead of using the built in media importer.

Using this, just be aware of the difference between the "arrow" indicator, and the "green +" indicator. They mean COMPLETELY different things in terms of media management.
