Impaling

Does anyone have any ideas or experience with impaling someone (having a blunt object just go through someone's body)?

I have come up with some general ideas but nothing I can do without getting very realistic by actually impaling someone and just saying I'm sorry.

Any help would be appreciated.

To what?

I think I am just going to cast someone I don't like and actually impale them. Covey would call that a win win situation, right?

I read through TC's post about how he did the stick through the body, but either I am really slow today or just not getting how it came out that way... I kept watching his film, but something is not clicking with me about how he pulled it off. I just don't get it...
