Hello everyone.

I need a little bit of help.

I am kind of new to this IMDB stuff and I am making a movie soon and I want to put a page on IMDB on it. I might send it to film festivals but not sure at the moment. I created an account but cannot seem to add a movie on their? Can any one assist me?

IMDB.com has a very meticulous screening process, for good reason. It keeps everyone from adding every little video they make with their friends in their backyard, and helps maintain the legitimacy of the website as a true film information search engine and archive.

Generally, they will not admit a film onto IMDB unless it has a) had a run in well-known film festivals, or b) been distributed or has a distribution deal.

I know first-hand how grueling the process is of getting onto IMDB. For my horror film, "Plasterhead" (in stores nationwide this Fall!), I was rejected several times before finally getting on. IMDB will ask for proof that your film is legitimate, and in my case, even links to the trailer and official website were not enough. It took links to official film festival websites that were advertising screenings of the film for my movie to be accepted.
