Okay, I am ranked 132,909 on IMDB (which ain't too shabby). How do the rankings work on IMDB? Why have I gone up over 841% since last week?

I am listed under: Steve Bernard (III)

Nice!

My bubble has been soundly burst! LOL!

Cool. Thanks for looking it up Doc although I can't see the graph link because I don't have IMDB Pro.

Apparently my 'STARmeter' is up 3,527% from last week what ever that means :).

I have zero comprehension regarding the use, importance, or value of those rankings.

Add it to the list, I guess.

They're useful to producers when looking for talent, somewhat.

This is kind of puzzling. I mean, when people with extensive mainstream production experience have poorer ranking numbers than people who basically made one or two small home-made projects it seems like an odd way for a producer to find people.

Perhaps I just don't understand the system.

No I mean talent as in Actors....a lower number means a more well known actor. The lower an actor gets in rankings, the more desirable (in theory). It kinda doesn't apply to below the line people very well. It kinda does apply more to above the line.

For you as a production designer / art director it virtually has no meaning.
