I know some of you have IMDB Pro. Now if I get this. What are the things that I get to do that I normally couldn't do?? Please name as many as the main things. Because I may plan on doing it. Thanks.

the offical imdb pro hype machine lists the following... I never felt like it was worth $155/year. some people expect, and are disappointed to learn, that it doesn't give you an advantage for getting your own films listed. and the information that is there would need to be verified elsewhere anyway -- lots of inaccuracies.

Contact Listings for over 65,000 people.

Company Directory of over 10,000 companies.

Entertainment News from the Hollywood Reporter.

In Production Charts for over 5,200 film and TV projects.

Rankings for over 1.6 million people in IMDb.

Message Boards for entertainment industry professionals.

Box Office for US daily, US weekly and international.

Calendar of theatrical releases, film festivals and events.

Advanced Search function that generates customized reports.

Who else on here uses IMDBPRO and is it worth the money?

I'm trying to look for ways to simplify the casting process and was wondering if this would assist me in any way?

I don't see much benefit to it. People use my IMDB listing to check me over pre-interview sometimes, but the information they want is in the regular listing, no pro required.

You work. Or if you have a film show at a recognized Film Festival, you're eligible. Not just anyone can get listed.

Pretty close, though. A while back there was a fun debate swirling around whether or not IMDB listees should police false listings and lies on other listees' profiles.
