Way back when I worked in TV I helped our engineer change the strobe on our microwave tower - 180' ! At night of course after we signed off the air. Does anyone here remember when TV stations used to sign off at night? I remember running a 3/4" tape of the national anthem then 30 seconds of bars and tone then bam - turn that transmitter OFF!
