I've used post image stabilization in After Effects and FCP with mixed results.
I have a new project that will be shot on 35mm and scanned at 2k. It's a running through the woods type shot and I will be just smoothing it out a little rather than complete stabilization.
My question is this: Can FCP take advantage of the full 2k 4:3 frame (2048×1556) when stabilizing or am I better off in After Effects? (I'm guessing the answer is always AE but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway).
