Image is everything...

So we just did a table reading for my next short film. Had someone film some behind the scenes stuff on a small compact camera. Anyway, the lead actor sees it and I note that it actually does "Full HD", referencing it's size and all. Suddenly a look of dismay crosses his face and I quickly realize that he assumes that we'll be shooting the film on it. I quickly, and loudly, proclaim "Don't worry, we're not shooting the film on that!".

Anyway, the crux of the story: Afterwards we perform a little autopsy and my co-director questions what the actors reaction would have been if we were shooting the film on a Nex5n. A moment passes where we contemplate how we would have explained that.

In the future, we'll probably be recording 4K (Raw?) on our phones - the actors better start getting used to small cameras now already.
