Image File Sequence Import

Ok... So here's what I'm trying to do.... in vain. I searched the forum and didn't find an answer:

How in the world do you import image file sequences????

It sooo easy in Avid, why not FCP! I have 16 bit tiff sequences that need to get into FCP, somehow.

Ok... I did some google hunting and found the answer, but I gotta say, FCP ought to be better than this...
