Hello there! I wonder if a iMac 27" (with Intel Core i7 quad-core a 4,0GHz (Turbo Boost at 4,2GHz),32GB SDRAM DDR3 at 1867MHz (4 x 8GB),Fusion Drive 3TB, AMD Radeon R9 M395X with 4GB) can handle 4K editing, color correction, at 400Mbps 4K 4:2:2 10bit ALL-Intra with Premiere Pro of the upcoming Panasonic GH5. I know the camera it's still not available but for example the Canon XC10 has a bit rate of up to 305Mbps, so someone could have tested it. Thanks! :-)

I've got that exact spec iMac. I'm editing 4K 4:2:2 10Bit Prores stuff from my Flame. I can edit in realtime, in 'High Quality' with multiple effects applied and it doesn't skip a beat (in FCPX). Only thing that does make it choke is NeatVideo.

I'm looking for results with Premiere Pro, did you tested it? Thanks! :-)

Even though I have a Creative suite subscription. I've never used Premiere.

To be honest. If that's your main usage, then a PC with a GeForce GPU would probably be better as I believe Premiere uses CUDA cores more than OpenGL and that being the case, the AMD GPUs (and even the mobile versions in the iMacs) are going to struggle compared to cheaper and faster Nvidia GPUs running Premiere.
