HOLLER. I'm visiting LA in three weeks. can't wait. how many of you are from there? I'm checking a school out in Tarzana called Columbia College. I already got accepted, but I'm seeing if its any good. anyone have a clue about it? thanks

Perhaps you'd have done better to check it out first?
 
not sure- probably pretty close to the school though- i'm there three days, visiting the first day, sitting in on classes the second, then leaving the third. oak hills sound familiar? something like that. got the flight and rental car, but no hotel yet lol

drive a block over and its ghetto...los angeles is messed up like that.
 
i've heard its very ghetto and its not a good idea to live there. they gave me a bunch of suggestions of surrounding areas to get an apartment. any suggestions?

Woodland hills and Encino are very much alike.

If I had to choose, for an Apartment I'd go with Encino, I used to live there in an apartment awhile ago, pretty nice..but woodland hills is much cleaner I believe and has less crime activity, more rich people.
 
ummm, I went to Columbia College Chicago, in which used to be Columbia College over in California(partners). I'll tell you, I went for one year. Now thats just Chicago, but I was planning to go to the California one, but I'm not impressed by them. Haven't been there but heard its really small. Doesn't have much popularity.


BTW to anyone, it is always easy to get accepted into film schools, especially one's that aren't doing well in admissions.
