I'm usually not into snowboarding videos but DAMN.

Wow. Besides great shooting, those locations are insanely beautiful.

There is a 1D in a shot, but it appears to be a person taking a picture. For something with the kind of funding this has I would expect very different camera types. Especially helicopter mounted.

Yeah, definitely some higher quality cameras with the kinda of budget that is likely from this type of shoot. Plus, no DSLR can hold those deep focus shots the way this video is showing.

This is a spectacular video, and I love seeing grand snowboarding videos.

Regarding your thread title... ditto. I haven't been into snowboarding videos in over 20 years... but yeah... damn, indeed.

Red Bull's sponsored sports teams are insanely good. I had the opportunity to work with FlightLine shooting the rehearsals of the Red Bull Air Show -- highly, highly recommended. They're simply insanely good.

And yes, on that team they were shooting it with an HPX3700 and a Phantom and a whole bunch of GoPros. I'm not surprised to hear they were using the Phantom on this shoot too.

Fuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. That was awesome. Some of the cleanest footage I've ever seen

That was indeed the (overall) best snowboarding video I've ever seen.

However, I remember another snowboarding video from a year or two ago that went semi-viral where a helicopter camera captures a snowboarder (or possibly skier?) shooting downhill while the snow cracks into fissures around him before becoming a full fledged avalanche.

Nothing in this video comes close to THAT shot.
