I'm totally looking for a 24 - 70 F2.8 parfocal lens

Does one exist? The 24 to 70 with my FS700 is my bread and butter combo. Right now I have the Tamron 2.8 with VC. I love the lens but I miss how I used to be able to do these quick zooms with my ENG camera, and I wish to be able to do this on my large sensor cam with nice bokeh without worrying about going out of focus from zooming.

I did a quick google search, the Canon counterpart is definitely not parfocal. So I wonder if such product actually exists. I almost don't care what mount it is on. A smooth zoom ring would be nice though.

Thanks

The Tokina AT-X 28-70 f2.6-2.8 is a wee bit longer (28 vs 24) but that lens is parfocal and one of the best still zooms there are (they bought the construction from Angeniux). Read more about it here:

If you want to be sure, buy a cine zoom. Anecdotally, a lot of people claim different things for the constant aperture L-series lenses. Some say they are not, some say they are, some say close but not truly parfocal. The fact that it doesn't seem to appear in the marketing propaganda suggests that Canon don't back it is as a claim in lenses that are commonly assumed to be parfocal. I'm pretty sure my 24-70mm f2.8L is not.
