Just placed my order with Rush at EVS. Can't say enough about the service. First class, highly recommended. :)

Should receive my DVX100A Friday.

Can't wait to jump in an get my feet wet.

I would just like to add a special thanks to this forum, moderators and all it's members. You have really been very helpful with some great tips and advice but more importantly, inspirational as well.

Some of the films done with this camera are really pretty amazing. Maybe someday I'll be able to produce something worth posting.

Regards.

Mark, I have no doubt you will make some killer footage, you have the zeal enough for 2 filmmakers  You picked some world-class gear, and you should be able to hit the ground running. Best of luck, sir.

The DVX has some strange powers on filmakers, the second you pick it up and start recording, your skill level as a filmmaker will increase dramatically,

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Your right XCheck, I've not only found a new creative vein to pursue but another "money pit"...

Thanks again Rush for your expertise in helping me decide what gear to go with. More importantly, your patience.

Dyreseve989, thanks for the motivation.

C'mon UPS!

Mark
