I'm still stuck on CS3.

I have some issues with CS5 when I scrub though a lot of 5D footage..and especially when I convert it to cineform first. That being said if it's not converted it is fairly stable. If you are shooting with Canon DLSRs and not converting to an intermediate codec, I would highly recommend using CS5 or 5.5 since CS3 doesn't convert the black and white levels properly.

I had no trouble with CS5 an do not have any with CS5.5.
Both rock solid.
The only drawback on CS4 was it could not handle big projects, otherwise very stable.
Skipped CS3.

I'm still stuck on Premiere CS3. It is rock stable. I'm really reluctant to move to CS5. I heard the stability just isn't the same.
Whenever I've left software that worked well because everybody else did and then had to go through the "try to make it work as well as the old one" thing, I ask myself...why did I do that?
