im using an fx1 to film and my computer is running super slow on it.
well anyways, right now i am using a dell with 2.6 ghz pc, with 80 gb hd, and 512 mb of ram to edit and its not exactly cutting it.
i was wondering if any of you have any experience editing hdv with an imac g5. i will be making a video(probably about an hour long), and going to dvd. i will not be working with any clients or anything, just personal use.
if you have edited on an imac, how does fcp 5 and motion run on it. if i do get an imac i would probably get 2ghz with 2gb or ram.
