I'm not a hippy but...

I've become completely obsessed with disc golf. Five days of playing in a row, lost 5lbs from all the hiking (and searching in the woods).

Really fun game in case you've never played.

i used to be really good at ultimate frisbee when i was in college, but sadly i've grown fat and slow over the years. maybe i should look into this disc golf.

Imagine a weird sport that combines hiking, golf, and throwing a frisbee... and you have, well disc golf...

It's free to play and just a blast. I've become completely addicted

I helped shoot the national championships down in Rock Hill in 2005.

Now, I actually live on a golf course which has a disc golf course included.

You forgot to add beer in the mix.

I've got a killer course in the park across the street from my house. I'm a casual player, but some guys are really serious about the "sport" around here.

The most amazing course I've ever played was in Winter Park, CO. The terrain on every hole was different. The gorgeous Rockies in the background didn't hurt either.

I used to live near a course in KC that was used for national tournaments. Which was kind of sad as it never seemed to be in very good shape. My buddy and I started playing when he went back to grad school and he couldn't afford regular golf anymore. We actually ran into very few hippies. Since moving to Dallas, I haven't played at all -- but my discs are still in my car.
