I didn't really know where to put this thread. My apologies if you need to relocate it, mods.
Alright, so I just aquired a new rig. I figured I could use it as a farm, taking advantage of Vegas' network rendering feature. The problem is that I operate over WLAN. I wasn't happy with the data rates - far too little and distcontiguous for video. Luckily, I have an old router lying around, so I thought I could wire an ethernet network.
I plug the router into both computers, boot them up. Everything looks good. Until I try to access the internet on my host (through a wireless card). "Cannot find server" error. I'm thinking this problem comes up because Windows doesn't know which connection to use for Internet. Any ideas? Shouldn't I be able to access two networks at the same time without conflict?
Thanks! :cheesy:
