I'm in Maryland

...shooting some martial arts videos for Century Martial Arts. Been here since Sunday afternoon. Damn, it's hot and humid here. Me and my crew plan to do the DC tourist thang tomorrow before flying back to hick town tomorrow night.

The videos were basically instructional 'dojo games'. There was a young boy (around six years old) who participated in many of the techniques/drills they taught. He was very enthusiastic and had a great attitude. Whenever the instructor would say, "Are you ready?", he would reply with a loud "Yes, Siw". He couldn't pronounce his "R"s, but he was the cutest kid I've seen in a while... kinda stole my heart.

Jeez, Terry, the humidity has made you soft! But don't worry, there's still plenty of heat and humidity waiting for you back on the plains!

Yeah, I actually thought to myself, "This doesn't sound like a post from me" just prior to clicking the submit button.

I guess I'll have to wait until I return home to regain my warped views of life in general. :cheesy:

I can't believe what I just read...

Get home, safely...and back to normal...:2vrolijk_08:

I think someone is posting on Terry's account while he's away.

Terry! You left your cookies on and didn't logout! Come back!

There's SOMEONE in Maryland, but after reading that opening post, I'm not sure it's Terry. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Yes it is hot here terry. Where are you in Maryland?

I'm staying at a funky, fresh Hampton Inn in Gaithersburg, MD. Had dinner and a few good beers at the Dogfishhead brewpub.

Oh hey kimko I don't mean to thread jack but on the 21st I was in my first tournament in years and I ranked 1st ( Gold Medal ) in Men's Heavyweight Light contact sparring. I figured that's some stuff you would appreciate

That's cool, SilverWolf. I've been fortunate in the last several years to do videos with lots of martial artists like Cung Le, Royce Gracie, Frank Shamrock, Bill Clark (ATA), Bill 'Superfoot' Wallace, Mike Chat (XMA), Dave Kovar, Randy Couture, Bas Ruten and many more.

hey you guys! Silverwolf awesome on the gold my brother! how many fights did you have to get there?...............Terry i just saw Bill at the long beach internationals we still haven't played golf yet. he's been saying he wants to play with me in Maui. i got a great vid of me and him fighting in 1983 and 1985 at the San Diego Pan Am Asian tournement. i had won the tourney and got asked to be his sparring partner. we became friends after that. i met bas, cung at the long beach for the first time, they didn't know who i was...i'm old school i guess.......what a drag.......... but i saw some old friends Gene Labell, Bill Wallace, Frank Trejo, and Del Weston who put on the ACTION ON FILM FESTIVAL

Oh man, Gene Labell had a booth set up at the Martial Arts Supershow in Las Vegas last month where people lined up to be choked out by him. Afterwards, they were given an "I was choked out by Gene Labell" button or pin. Well, suffice to say, one guy who was choked out had some related health issues afterwards and is now suing.
