Starting this weekend I will get my hands on a DVX100A for use for a short film. This is a HUGE, HUGE upgrade from the JVC GR-D22U that I own and shoot with now. I am very excited to use this, as I have decided to buy a DVX100, A or B. B would be my dream come true, but I would be satisified with the A model also.

This will also mark the first time I am using Premiere and After Effects for post production and editing. I will miss the ease of use and awesomeness for being free that Windows Movie Maker is. But it is time to move on. I even went ahead and bought a 300GB HDD and another gig of RAM making it 2 gigs total in my comp.

Just thought I would share.

It's a great camera. Post some footage once you get around to it. You'll find that the members here know the know about the DVX and are soooooo willing to cheer or jeer.
Either way it helps you out. Have fun
