Have any of you tried to open a scene, and instead of opening, a pop-up comes up that states, "Warning: An error occurred while opening one or more files. The file is an unsupported format."

I don't know what the deal is. I took the footage straight off the camera and into Vegas. This is the first time it has happened. Anything I can do?
 
I had the same problem before once. I installed "fix-it" utility to speed up /clear up windows xp and it deleted or modified some reg file and then it happened. I roll back to the date before install and everything worked fine again.

so check and see if you have any recent installs or modify reg, or in the worst case, reinstall windows maybe? Good luck.
