Well after a long year of working I am finally on vacation.
For my father's 50th birthday (7 years ago) I decided to take him to NY (where we grew up) to go to Old Timer's Day @ Yankee Stadium. Since then it has become this yearly tradition where we make this trek up here every year, catch a couple of games together, and bum around the city... Look at where we used to live in the Bronx and in Westchester County. So, here I am, sitting in a Jersey hotel room and it hits me... I'm finally on vacation, and it feels GREAT!
We have tickets for the Saturday, Sunday, & Monday games at Yankee Stadium and then on Tuesday we're off to Cooperstown for the Baseball Hall of Fame. Needless to say, for those of you who know me, I'm borderline obsessed with baseball.
On top of that, these yearly trips are really the greatest memory building experiences I could possibly have with my father. I really value these trips and our time together and should I ever end up with a kid of my own (I've avoided it for a lot of years so far), these are the sort of things I hope to be able to experience with them as well.
So now you're thinking, "Wow, Jeremy, thanks for bragging about your trip". Nope! I actually have a legit offer...
Since I am going to the Baseball Hall of Fame, a place I have always wanted to go but have never had a chance to get to, I wanted to offer anyone here the chance for a gift from the HOF.
I work for a university and shoot bad car commercials on occassion, so I can't really just buy gifts for everyone, but if there is anything that you would like (within reason) I will go ahead and pick it up for you and you can just paypal me the receipt amount... I will even go ahead and ship it out to ya for free.
Well I'm in a good mood and most likely wont be around much over the next couple of days, but whenever I can get this laptop to work I will try to jump on and post some pictures and just add my sarcasm to the daily threads...
