Had a nice long sabbatical and am trying to catch up with a wad of email. I'm not crazy about the new look of the forum but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Anyway, I'm going to spend the next week getting up to speed on what's being going on in the community...

I haven't been shooting, so I'll need to dust off the old DVX....I'm gearing up for spring on the lake...haven't seen any baby ducklings yet :)
 
Welcome back D. Check out the HVX200 forum and the thread wanna peak. That'll take you a few weeks to get up to speed. :)

Glad you're back! You definately add a lot to this forum. (Although I must admit, having you gone gave me an opportunity to catch up on reviewing your posts and pickup a lot of great tips :) )
 
just kind of wonderiing... have you ever done anything with your footage? i mean besides let it sit on your computer or on dvxuser... because im sure you could do something with it, as you're very talented.
 
Welcome back. And i have to tell you that I recently discovered even more respect for your work. I was on a golf outing this weekend to S.C. and tried taking some good pictures of these weird looking birds hanging around the course. That's hard work, and I failed miserably.
 
Hey, thanks for the welcome backs everyone. I haven't been on the forum much in the past few days but I'm seeing this HVX200 thingy and it's making me feel like I need to run away :) The notion of all of the money I will need to upgrade is giving me a headache.

It's gonna be a while...

Welcome back! Actually, it's been rather quite and sparse around here. So much so that TC and crew have been twiddling their thumbs and finding the weirdest photos on the net. But, I digress. Hope you had a good break and will be coming back with you full creative force.
