We're having a cocktail party tonight, and I cannot tie my damn tie for the life of me. I keep getting it knotted, but the knot is crooked every single time. DAMN IT ALL.

Let it hang to the belt mid point (The tip) and let the knot have some play in it. Be casual. Like you mean it.

That's the first place I went!

It helped me figure it out, but it's still crooked. I a guy shows up first, so I can have some help.

I wish I had a clip on, that would make this easier. My roomates and I have decided that if we just start drinking now, than by the time people start to show up I have an excuse for my tie being crooked.
