Illustration and Text Effect

I'm just getting started in After effects and was wondering if there was a tutorial on how to do this type of effect. Ive seen it used for illustrations, logos, and text.

I searched myself but couldnt really find one, as i dont actually know the proper name for this effect.

It's the same principle, just different type of content.

The organic vines themselves can be created by hand, though I believe there are some fonts that include designs like these.
