I'm shooting some solo sit-down doc interview material (DVX100b)- and need an inexpensive field monitor to use off the camera for basic reference and some focus checks while doing the interviews. My budget is very limited - and liked the fact that this kit has battery, charger etc..and is in stock at B&H. I realize that this is about as cheap as you can get - but is it a waste of money? I couldn't find the VH7 on Ikan's website...looks like it has been disco'd...and I was wondering why? Any feedback appreciated.
