ik in after effect

Great answer, no wonder people have no reservation about posting questions here. [/sarcasm]

How very well thought out and creative of you. Certainly well worth the time it took to write.

besybunny: Your question is a bit vauge. If by ik you mean Inverse Kinetics like the type used in a skeleton rig in a 3D app, I don't think it can be done, at least not the way you are wanting. You CAN do parenting, and there are others here (Kai, ScottDVX) who know more than I do about expressions, so there may be a route that way.

As far as I know, without using expressions, Inverse Kinematics is unavailable in After Effects. This isn't to say the look cant be done, only you will have to use a parent based system and hand work what would be done with a normal IK setup. Not TOO much of a workaround, and definately possile, but just a little more work.

I have never heard about IK (if you mean IK=Inverse Kinetics) in AE. I met with this expression in Maya. I would not advise to things like this in AE.

i wasnt trying to be smart or anything. I have no idea what he's talking about, but if i did, i would try and answer him to the best of my ability.

mcshyd 2006 will try to be more sensitive to others feelings.

What are you trying to do that would confuse Inverse Kinematics with Time Remapping?
