Igus Slider Carriage Plate CARNAGE!!!

Well, I decided to recess the 4 outer screw holes on the plate to keep the carriage more aligned. Only one word comes to mind when I see my handy-work (or lack thereof) and it's RAPEJOB!!!




Anyone know of a way to get this a little cleaner looking? I was thinking a Dremel might do it but I'd like to hear other suggestions.

Idk maybe some handy work with a dremel but odds are you'd need a press or something. I know how you feel though. I'm not that handy either and during a tap I bent the carriage, now it's not quite right and the slider sticks. I tried looking into a new plate but never heard back from the igus parts guy....

Hey spydercam, Zazaslider.com (http://zazaslider.com/products) sells IGUS replacement plates. The original ones and the ones with the recessed holes. I'm not sure I can afford either right now but I'm looking into one of those.
