If you could license one song...

THe Stand; yes.

I remember this and damn it; I have had the song longer than that planned.

My movie will be better anyway !

Tough question. I don't think I'd want to license a song, unless the chorus/title of the song was the title of the movie(in that case, the song would depend on the film). I'd rather take the cash I'd put towards licensing fees, and hire a composer, or find some unsigned garage band to use in my film.

ACDC- back in black

i can think of a lot of different ways to use this song. plus it rocks.

Speakin' of... I can't believe 'they' are using "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" in a commercial.

"... so get off your ass and come down here..."

I mean, I was a senior in HS when that album came out. I brought the 8-track into our weight room and plugged it into a boombox for inspiration. There were only a few of us in there lifting with "Hells Bells" playing when our assistant football coach came walking into the room and made a fast walk to the volume knob. He turned it down, turned to us and said, "What the hell is that?!" "Who brought that in here?!" I admitted to the sin and was asked to keep that crap out of our school. His reaction, including scrunched up face and furrowed brow, is forever etched in my mind.

Fast forward to today. They pump out "Back in Black" and "Thunderstruck" among other bangers and thrashers over their PA system before every home game and even old men and women have been known to sing or tap along.
