It's a pity it's not shot on the HVX.
(Why doesn't Disjecta have a HVX? A pixel story? Or?)

Many reasons I didn't go with the HVX but being able to run tape way beyond the time limitation of P2 cards was a big factor at the time. Perceived resolution was another reason. In the end, it doesn't really matter, it's what the end product looks like, not necessarily the camera used.
 
It's not about the tools so much as it's about a shooting style. I could shoot with an HVX and XHA1 and mix the two together in this reel and most people would not even notice. The color preset I use on the XHA1 was inspired by the color of the DVX/HVX....

It's all about light, composition, camera movement, etc. and less about hardware.
