If My Video Card is Messed up...

Would that be a reason that when I capture in Vegas that lots and lots of frames are dropped?

No. Capture doesn't touch the video card.

Nor does much of anything else.

Unless your card is generally screwing up your system, of course.

hmmm.. I never had capturing problems before using Vegas till now. Then again my video card is not reading this time around last time I did capturing my video card was working.

I ended processes of programs that are not needed.. and computer usage is very low in percentage. So I'm not sure what is going on, could something be wrong my with Vegas software.

It's probably more likely a hardware problem, but try reinstalling and see what happens.
