Here is the reality... There is no one truck. The labor bottleneck is load / unload time, bigger jobs require dedicated trucks. Right now I really want a small sprinter camper van, all white... stealth.
E250
My first production truck was a Ford E250 cargo van. One grip cart, Magliner Senior for camera, rock and roller to move lights in milk crates. With the basic package I can shoot ENG jobs, small industrials and I worked many small 35mm features with the van. Now, I have partners and access to a fleet. The E250 is still working, but everyone hates that old van.

F350
My current daily work truck is a F350 for pulling generators. This week I shot a real estate job out of the pickup, camera, dolly, a few HMIs.
Isuzu NPR "2 ton"
The does all truck, old, tired, ugly, but gets the job done. And no SMOG or CARB restrictions!
2ton, 3ton, 500A plant - working a tv spot in the rain.
