If anyone here is from New Orleans or the Gulf region . . .

Makes you thank God you have a home, job, family, clothes, etc...

Imagine everything gone all at once.. Homeless, unemployed, hungry, wet, and in some cases missing a loved one.

Prayers headin their way.

Similar to most of the rest of the world. Perhaps more difficult emotionally because people are used to certain comforts not available elsewhere, so they may not be as prepared (mentally) to deal with the hardship as someone in, say, Bangladesh.

I don't believe in God, so no prayers here, only a heart felt sympathy with everyone down there... don't really know what to say.
