iDVD sucks. Output problem...

I have a project I made into 16:9 from FCP that I added to iDVD. The quicktime file is in 16:9, the iDVD project is in 16:9, the output is squeezed back to 4:3. Went back into FCP, resized each clip in the timeline back to 4:3, the output looked like 2:1.5.

Great minds of DVXuser...WHAT THE F*** am I doing wrong? It worked just fine before and I got 2 16:9 dvds, but now I try to make more copies and it looked screwed up.

Idvd has trouble recognizing the 16;9 flag in quicktimes. Just export as 16x9, and then use this little app which will make a reference file idvd will see as 16x9--

Of course you could just open your movie file in Quicktime and open up item properties and click on the video tab and change your movie to 1024x576 and save it.
