id like to take my britek floods down a stop and ive just started looking into scrims to acomplish this. the problem im having is all i see are round scrims , do they make square scrims and are they even supposed to be attached on square floods under a softbox?
if so how do you go about doing this, is there some kind of holder that needs to be attached to the floods to slide the scrim into ?

thanks

im not sure what the problem is.

i have the 600/1200 watt briteks, flood lights with barned doors and softboxes. The filter holder can also support round fixtures such as the barned doors and softbox.

rosco or Lee lighting, who make rolls of high temp colour gels
also make rolls of scrim, you can buy it buy the metre,
try finding a theatre lighting hire company in your area

what if your using the softbox ring for your softbox? also if you stick a round scrim in front of a square flood would 'nt you get bright edges since the srim isnt covering that area?

ahh, i see what you mean, not sure. the only thing i could say is distance it from your subject. or get a dimmer.

ya i considered a dimmer till i watched some of the tutorial vids wich said they change the color temp. well i guess ill try throwing some fabric on the softboxes that i read in another thread!
