During my continual quest for a tripod in local(-ish) stores, I bought a Cullmann with a 3060 Horizontal Macro Arm,
3010 Head...maybe it's a 3020...not marked, some big moosy three section legs, also unmarked.
It was a display model in a camera shop with just cosmetic damage. All for 80 Euro.
The horizontal arm by itself cost more than that, so I know I got a "good deal", but what do you think of Cullmanns? It seems pretty stable to me, and the action of the head seems pretty smooth for a not-completely-fluid head.
