Hey all,

I was watching the special features of the japanese movie, 'Park and Love Hotel' and saw this steadicam rig that caught my interest.

Does anyone know what company/model/make this is? It looks comparable to another suspension/cable steadicam I've seen before, but I've since lost the link.

Thanks for your help‼

at the begining it was called Marzpack from the name of the guy who built them. then it has been sold under the name of turtle-x and sold by easyrig

it is not a stabilizer (it does not claim for such feature) but a way to hold heavy camera for a long time, or in situation where equilibrium is a concern (skating, skiing).
The side effect of using it is increased stability since your energy can be devoted to camera control more than camera lifting. My opinion is it a really nice gear, but a very good shoulder support could provide same performance for cheaper. there are some situation where there is no replacement for such gear, in crowded rooms for example where i found it far superior to shoulder gear.
you should not be shy to look a bit fishy by wearing such a gear .
