Please let me know what you guys honestly think of the track. Like even if one part I say the word "AND" too loud, something I might not have picked up yet.

Im shooting a music video to this song next week so I want it kinda perfect before we start the shoot.

LOVE IT OR HATE IT, JUST PLEASE RATE IT!

Especially if you can, post some ideas for what you think I should shoot for sections in the music video. Thanks for any help in advance!
 
You asked for honesty, and I'm going to give it to you. I didn't like it at all.

I'm finding myself asking "what is the purpose of this song?" It jumps around so much, and I got absolutely nothing out of it other than 'Skettalee is the ****.' Every rapper on MTV has that same song.

There's just way too much going on with that beat, and there wasn't much range in the vocals.

Sorry man, just not my cup of tea. Perhaps others will like it better. At least you fully produced a track, that's more than a lot of aspiring artists. Good luck.
 
Hehe, well i been fully producing tracks since 1999 but yeah i totally understand what you are coming from. I made it especially to be one of those average rapper tracks talking about things like im the stuff and everyone else sucks kinda thing. I also wanted to throw in some real life type stuff in the middle of the song so atleast you can know I can speak real if i wanted to. I dont want to be a rapper rapper but I love making music so im kind of making fun. The music video is going to be the same way

I want to do a backstreet boys dance routine at one point at the end in the video too. Its nothing to be taken seriously except for my talent to write things and make beats and music videos. nothing to be especially a great song that has alot of meaning.

I mean it took me just today to do this. Thanks for your feedback, i really appreciate it. And though it helps, im still sticking with it cause the way you described it is pretty much closely how i wanted it to be. Anyone else?

We all know how I feel about Rap

But I liked this. It sounds as good as anything else. It is not as polished as some 1,000,000 dollar recording but I think it was cool.

Since I don't like rap will not pass judgement on this, instead I'll let those who appreciate the medium to reply. :beer:
