Ideas for a jib stand

What do you mean by a "jib stand?" Just a stand to set the arm on when it is not in use? If that's the case than a traditional "C" stand will suffice. If you are looking for an actual stand for attaching the jib and operating it under full load than look at some of the heavier-duty video tripods that are out there. By the time you add the jib, the camera and weights to the rig it's going to be pretty heavy.

Yea I plan to gave the camera and weights on a full workin jib. What jib would you recomend? I'm also on a budget so I can't be spending a lot of cash. Thanks once again.

I am not familiar with the jib you have. Personally I have an EZFX jib with extension kit that performs very well for me. With the extension I am able to get the camera about 16 feet in the air. Here's a link to the company's website -> http://www.ezfx.com/

In addition to the jib & extension I also have the heavy EZFX pedestal. It is strong enough to handle pretty much anything I put on it.

This may be ou tof your budget range- but thought I would at least share what I have confidence in.

I know that the store also sells a stand by itself but Im looking for something more cheaper. Worst comes to worst ill probably buy that tripod they have to offer.

Also the cameras that I plan to use are the Canon T2i and the HV30. Nothing really pro, but im trying to come as professional as I can.
