Tommy, yes...several people have been kind enough to come forward and offer their thoughts and comments. One has already sent about 10 pages of nearly-finished script, and I'm thrilled to see it on the written page! And even though we're getting some writing done, I still don't mind if people wanna check out the treatment...can't get too much feedback, ya know!
I'd love to be able to pay someone for their time in writing...even $100 seems like a slap in the face. I don't take lightly the time and effort that a writer will invest in this. I appreciate the thoughts, and I think you're right. I'll try to think of creative ways to tangibly compensate a writer for their hard work...the script is a HUGE step, and it's something that I could never do on my own!
