Idea for camcorder feature.

Does this already exist?
A camcorder with two LCD screens. 1st screen that is used for framing/viewing the whole image, and 2nd screen for monitoring other things. The image on the 2nd screen could have a magnified view of the image to help with focusing, or show the audio levels, or zebra's, or live histogram etc. That way you wouldn't need to keep switching between different things, or have a bunch of stuff cluttering the screen.

you can connect an external monitor to any camera with hdmi or sdi output, depending on the monitor, it can have built in monitoring and video assist features you like. and may have pass-through i/o to another monitor if you wish to have more than one.

there are a number or cameras that offer both a view finder and lcd monitor.

some newer cameras(just the one from blackmagic) soon to be released are coming with thunderbolt connection that can be connected directly to a computer software for monitoring like ultrascope on a laptop.

you can connect pocket ultrascope to an sdi out connection and into a usb3, and get ultrascope on a laptop.
