Lots of it in Oklahoma recently. Downed power lines. More than 500,000 homes without electricity.

I didn't get it nearly as bad as some people (as evidenced by the fact I'm still online...), but my Bradford Pear did sustain considerable damage.

Yuck. Glad it didnt hit anything. We lose power intermittently but nothing that bad. My dad is in Coweta and doesnt expect to have power until next tuesday... Our trees are just breaking at the top. Looks like a little tornado went through the neighborhood and skimmed all the tops off. The wife and I actually broke down and played monopoly when we lost power. Was a loooooooong day with no internet. Office in Tulsa has no power so I'm playing hookie as we dont have clients with power either so it all works out well. Stay safe, stay warm Terry. I'm so glad I no longer live in Texas, hated those ice storms and those summer hot-as-hell days.

Wow, that sucks. We had a similar incident a year or so ago. The city did the right thing by coming around and collecting all the branches....as long as you cut 'em up.
