iCancer: support crowdfunding Cancer reseach

We are a team of guerrilla fundraisers who have launched a global campaign to fund research into a potential treatment for the cancer that killed Steve Jobs.

Um, the problem was that there wasn't treatment. The problem is that Jobs decided he was going to heal himself holistically, and by the time he found out it wasn't working, the cancer was spread too far.

This revolutionary treatment is slightly more effective than similar treatments that have been used for decades. Similar treatments that at least in one case killed a patient, because it involves introducing a new virus into the system. The issue isn't a lack of money, it's a lack of willingness to take on the liability of a dangerous project. And even if it were money, there are dozens of equally promising cancer research projects underway that could use it. Billionaires aren't stopping anyone from developing this. That kind of progress is a great way to get people into their private clinics, so why wouldn't the pharmaceutical companies be all over this? The answer is that this particular treatment is not nearly as revolutionary or safe as it's made to sound here.

I suspect this is intended to go on the campaign creator's resume as much as to help cancer patients.
