Oooooh, you've brought back some bad memories! I've got one of those, and it was nearly impossible to collapse back down, until I discovered the secret trick (bending the top bar so it's rotated to the vertical before starting the first fold). Was that in the instructions anywhere? Nooo... had to google it and find someone else who'd done a home video tutorial of it...
 
One for all the divorced men (Including me), the thing I cant believe is that it crossed my mind it just might impress another bird but maybe not get me laid eh?
