Looks to me like it was a simple ctrl + alt+ printscrn for the different parts, along with the JPEG of the wallpaper, each added in and animated separately.

Geez....can't fool you ;D (That's the whole point of taking time out to just mess around with the program and have a little fun) I used HyperSnap to do the screen grabs of the menu bars and dialog boxes, cleaned up in Photoshop. The wallpaper was just the jpg. And then there's Timmy....... just an animated gif with a Boris FX fireball placed over the top of him and key framed.
