I want to start doing wedding video professionally and had some questions about gear.

this is what i think i need. I want to do this professionally and went to film school so know a fair amount about how to make videos. I already have a t3i, a set of fast nikon ai lenses, and a fast computer with cs5.5. the main things i want to add are
5D mkii, roland g26 field recorder, zoom h4n, sennheiser g3 omni directional lav mic, cheap azden wireless lav, rode on camera mic.
i was thinking of having the roland on me with the rode and sennheiser mics attached. then have the azden mic hooked up to the zoom and the sound board if there is one. the lavs would be on the groom and minister. is there a better way to do this?
also 5d mkii vs sony vg20?
i was going to setup my t3i with magic lantern on it and have it automatically start recording after the 4gb limit but that kind of worries me. it would be a b-cam set on a tripod set at a wide angle that i could cut back to from me walking around and getting footage. it may be better to get one of the sony hdv's.
any thoughts on this stuff would be greatly appreciated. also any tips on how to deal with demanding clients. i'm kind of dealing with one right now so im starting to learn but any advice would help.
thanks

Build it and they will come, huh?

Start by putting an ad out. It'll read something like this:

"Free wedding videography...no catch. My name is Ted and I'm a young film school grad. I'm trying to get a wedding video business off the ground and I want to record YOUR wedding for free; no strings attached".

Do 5 freebies and you'll learn quite a bit...you'll get couples who would otherwise not have a video. If you screw up, who cares?

Starting off with a DSLR is tough, but good luck. As far as demanding clients go......it seems like you haven't even done a single wedding...I would just walk away....
